MJ Estate Seeks to Pay for Janet Jackson’s Condo

The Michael Jackson Estate wants to pay for a portion of Janet Jackson‘s mortgage on her posh Las Vegas condo … TMZ has learned.

The Estate filed documents asking the Probate judge to foot a portion of the bill on Janet’s mortgage.  Sources tell us … Katherine Jackson has spent time at the condo and the Estate is willing to pay a pro rata share of the mortgage based on how much Katherine uses Janet’s Vegas crib.

A hearing is pending on the Estate’s request, which was filed before the whole Arizona thing.

Two interesting things.

– Thing 1.  Given that Janet has become an arch enemy of the Estate, it’s kind of a smart move to co-opt her by partially footing the bill.

– Thing 2.  This all may amount to nothing, because we’re told Katherine isn’t speaking to Janet, so it’s unlikely she’ll be sleeping in Janet’s bed anytime soon.

Katherine Jackson Suggests She Was DUPED Into Arizona Trip

Katherine Jackson is strongly suggesting she was tricked into traveling to Tucson last month and BLOCKED from communicating with MJ‘s children — this according to a sworn declaration by Katherine herself.

Katherine filed the declaration as part of her bid to obtain co-guardianship over Prince, Paris, and Blanket.

In the docs, Katherine claims she was scheduled to go on a road trip to New Mexico to watch her sons in concert — but on July 14th, an unnamed doctor showed up to her house and told her it was better for her to take a plane instead.

Katherine says she obliged — believing the doctor was under the orders of her longtime physician — but when she got off the plane … she found herself in Tucson, where she had been set up at a luxury resort.

According to her lawyer, “Her children took her to a spa … because she had high blood pressure.”

When she got to the resort, Katherine says her phone and iPad were taken away — and her in-room telephone was disconnected. She says her TV was also shut off.

When Katherine asked about the grandchildren, she was told “they were fine” and there was nothing to worry about. She says she did NOT know she had been reported missing and her grandkids were freaking out.

Katherine says, “At the time, I trusted the people I was with to be honest with me.”

The declaration flies completely in the face of the statements Katherine previously made in an interview with ABC News, when she called her sudden absence last month a “short vacation.”

During the interview, Katherine — surrounded by Jermaine, Rebbie, and Janet — said, “One reason I didn’t call is I just gave up my phone and I didn’t want to have any phone calls while I was here.”

Story developing …

M.J.’s first posthumous music video precedes album

Amplify’d from news.yahoo.com

LOS ANGELES – A new Michael Jackson music video is hitting the Internet preceding the launch of a posthumous Jackson album.

Michael Jackson

The video, previewed by The Associated Press, debuts at midnight Thursday Eastern time on worldwide websites, including MichaelJackson.com, said Jackson estate co-administrator John Branca.

It showcases Jackson’s duet with Akon, “Hold My Hand,” recorded before the superstar’s 2009 death. It’s the first single release from the 10-song CD, “Michael,” launching Dec. 14.

The hyperkinetic, four-and-a-half-minute video shows Jackson in concert, Akon singing and dancing, sentimental scenes of children, families and old people holding hands and a woman weeping.

The song opens with the prescient line, “This life don’t last forever…So tell me what we’re waiting for…Hold my hand. “
