According to the police, the suspect — Michael Brea – sliced his mother’s head off during the attack.

When cops arrived to the scene around 2:20 AM, officers say Brea was clutching the bible. Cops ultimately had to use a taser to subdue the actor. Brea was taken to a nearby hospital for a psychiatric evaluation with a police escort.

Police claim the scene was “extremely bloody.”

A neighbor told WPIX 11, “I hear the brother chasing her [his mother] through the house and he’s just saying a bunch of [Bible] passages like, ‘Repent, Repent, Repent.’”

The neighbor continued, “I heard him chasing her through the house and I hear a loud scream and so I have my father call the cops, call 911.”

Brea has not been formally arrested or charged yet. We’re told he’ll will be turned over to the NYPD once his psychiatric evaluation is complete.

UPDATE: Brea has been charged with 2nd degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.Read more at www.tmz.com

The reason behind Mario fighting his mom….. read on

Mario (singer) in San Diego on September 14th,...
Image via Wikipedia

I reported a few days ago of Singer Mario accused of fighting his moms, well here is the reason behind all of that. I just want to say I don’t condone mother beating or physical violence what so ever, but I know how Mario feels I been through this as well. Now here is the reason behind the commotion.

While Mario was of town recording in New York, his mother had relapsed back into drugs and she was using his personal debit card to purchase illegal narcotics, aka heroin. When Mario returned home (on the 25th of September) and confronted his mother about her actions she became enraged and an argument escalated, his Mom called 911 claiming that Mario got physical with her.

Since Mario’s release on bail, Mario has returned home and is working at getting his mother back into a treatment center for her recent relapse for drugs.

“This is an unfortunate incident between a loving son and a mother who continues to struggle with a devastating addiction. Anyone who has waged the battle to save loved ones from the forces of drugs knows the irrational behavior that almost always accompanies their actions. Despite the allegations, Mario remains committed to supporting his mother.

I understand his actions but I pray and hope that they can get through this, I know it’s hard Mario but keep your head up.

Mario Arrested For Allegedly Assaulting His Mom

R&B star was apparently involved in an altercation early Friday morning in Baltimore.

R&B singer Mario was arrested Friday morning (October 1) for allegedly assaulting his mother. He was taken into custody after police came to the Baltimore apartment the singer shares with his mother, Shawntia Hardaway, who said he hit her. According to The Baltimore Sun, he was charged with second-degree assault and released on $50,000 bond.

According to a statement to MTV News from the Baltimore Police Department, police found Hardaway sobbing in the lobby of their apartment on Fell Street around 12:50 a.m. She informed police that her son, born Mario Dewar Barrett, was in their home “throwing and damaging property” and “started yelling at her and he used his hands and forearms and pushed her in the chest and shoulder area causing minor pain and discomfort.” Officers found a smashed mirror and closet door with a hole in it. A china cabinet was also broken and shattered glass covered the floor, the Sun reports.

Mario in police custody

Hardaway also said Friday’s incident was not the first time her son had assaulted her. She told police that Mario had pushed her “eight feet into a living-room wall, where Ms. Hardaway hit her head on the wall,” on September 27. She “stated her head still hurts because of hitting the wall” and maintained that she feels her life is in danger.

Although no specific cause has been cited for Mario’s behavior, the singer’s lawyer, William “Hassan” Murphy III, referenced Hardaway’s substance-abuse issues in a statement to MTV News.

“This is an unfortunate incident between a loving son and a mother who continues to struggle with a devastating addiction,” Murphy said. “Anyone who has waged the battle to save loved ones from the forces of drugs knows the irrational behavior that almost always accompanies their actions. Despite the allegations, Mario remains committed to supporting his mother.”

Mario has had an admittedly rocky relationship with his mother, which he explored in the 2007 MTV documentary “I Won’t Love You to Death: The Story of Mario and His Mom.” In the film, Mario candidly discusses his complex bond with Hardaway, who battles heroin addiction and had declined treatment and experienced several relapses in the past. Mario, known for hits like “Let Me Love You” and “Break Up,” stages an intervention for Hardaway, during which he pleads, “I want to give you the gift of life, like you gave me.” She ultimately enters a rehab facility in Los Angeles.

TWINS CHARGED WITH KILLING MOTHER IN GEORGIA….. READ ON

Jarmecca Whitehead, a 34-year-old mom from Conyers, Georgia, was afraid of her daughters, according to a neighbor. They had been living elsewhere when they returned to live at her home in January. Four days later, she was beaten and stabbed to death…

ABC NEWS

REPORTS:Friends described Jarmecca “Nikki” Whitehead as a “loving and open” mother whose rebellious teens increasingly challenged her on issues of dating, cell phone use and even about going to school.

The 16-year-old twins, Tasmiyah, “Tas,” and Jasmiyah, “Jas,” had at one time been “A” students, involved in Girl Scoutsand the performing arts at their Georgia high school. But 18 months ago, they reportedly became so violent and hard to handle that they temporarily moved in with their elderly great-grandmother.

Now they’re locked up, accused of murdering their mother, a beautician who had recently gone back to school to study fashion design.

Whitehead was found dead in her Conyers, Georgia, house in a pool of blood Jan. 14, brutally beaten and stabbed. Just one week before the murder the twins had returned home, but their mother had called police three times to rein in her out-of-control twins.

Now friends say they are not surprised.

“Do I think they were capable of doing it?” said Petrina Sims, owner of Decatur’s Simply Unique salon, where Whitehead worked until her death. “I was hoping not, but after all she had gone through, it was like you almost knew it was them.”

Apparently police thought so too, arresting the girls May 21 after connecting them to the brutal murder of their 34-year-old mother.

The girls face charges of malicious murder, felony murder and aggravated assault, which can carry a life sentence without parole. Prosecutors cannot ask for the death penalty because juveniles are barred from capital punishment in Georgia.

GiGi Jordan a socialite killed 8 year old son, could not deal with his autism…. really sad story read on

Autism Awareness Ribbon, Colorful Puzzle Piece...

NEW YORK — Gigi Jordan quit a high-powered job as a pharmaceutical company executive and abandoned her social life to devote all her time to her severely autistic son.

For most of his tortured life, Jude Michael Mirra repeatedly banged his head on the floor, screaming and unable to speak, writhing in pain. His mother, trained as a nurse, went to exhaustive lengths to help the 8-year-old, desperate for a cure.

But nothing worked. Her only child is dead now — by her own hands, according to police.

After years of struggling — with his autism and her inability to help him — Gigi Jordan gave up. To those who knew her, she was a loving, overprotective single mother who snapped under incredible strain. To prosecutors, she was a killer.

Jordan, 49, twice-divorced and living in New York, brought her only child to the Peninsula Hotel on Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue on Feb. 3. She paid cash for two nights in a $2,300-a-night suite. After posting a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, she double-locked it and jammed it with a chair.

Inside, prosecutors say she fed Jude a fatal overdose of various prescription drugs and took pills herself. Two days later, police alerted by a concerned relative burst in and found her semiconscious on the floor, “babbling incoherently,” with a faint pulse. Her son lay dead in his pajamas, face up on the bed.

Hundreds of prescription pills were strewn around the bedroom, police said.

In what was meant to be a suicide note, Jordan suggested she was driven by mercy: Jude was “in constant pain,” she wrote. “I hope Jude is in a better place.” A person familiar with the investigation who wasn’t authorized to release the note publicly spoke of it to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity. Step Mother Acussed of having sex with son for years

Omaha, Nebraska

From the Great Moments in Dope & Incest File comes this nasty little story out of Omaha, Nebraska: A 15-year-old boy says his mother had sex with him nightly over a two year period while he was in the seventh and eighth grades…

Details on the case are still scarce, but the boy reportedly told police he had sex with mom throughout 2008 and 2009. Mom, it seems, is a prescription drug addict.

The details only came to light last week when the boy told a counselor.

Mom lost custody of the boy last year when she was caught doctor shopping. She was trying to fill 15 different prescription from seven different doctors for the sleeping pill Ambien. She was only sentenced to one year of probation, but the boy was sent to live with his father.

The woman is now charged with felony sexual assault.

MOM ADMITS THAT SHE DOESN’T LOVE ONE OF HER DAUGHTERS

Shelley Price doesn’t love her own daughter, and fears she never will. This tearful mother of two is telling her story because she believes that she isn’t the only mother to ever tackle such a taboo subject, and hopes she may help others come to terms with this unspeakable truth. How can this be?

Price was just 22 when she had her eldest daughter, Catherine, now 11. Shortly after Catherine’s birth, a five-year relationship with the father fizzled. That didn’t help matters.

“It was obvious that something wasn’t right from the start,” said Price. The night Catherine was born, Price says she didn’t want to look or touch her. Her maternal malfeasance continues to this day. Playgroup pickup was something to dread, she recalls no landmarks such as a first tooth and when Catherine is sick, Grandma is called in. She admits to ignoring her daughter’s attempts to get her attention and not wanting to be physically close to her. “I did hug Catherine, but it was always half-hearted,” Price said. “I always told her I loved her but I never really felt it or meant it.”

That is just awful. Particulary when there is another child in the house now, Poppy, 2, a daughter who she calls “the love of my life” by her current partner.

Here’s more:

On the plus side, if there is one, Price recognizes her shortcomings and is trying hard to improve her relationship with her older daughter. “Sometimes, if I’ve been playing with Poppy, she’ll come and sit next to me, put her head on my shoulder and her arm round me, waiting for me to cuddle her,” she said. “I look at her little face and know I’ve hurt her. I do care deeply for Catherine, but I have just never felt the same bond with her.”

Instead of a good night kiss and “I love you, honey,” Catherine hears a nightly whisper in her ear. “I’m sorry for the way I’ve been with you.”
