Remembering Tupac: June 16, 1971- September 13, 1996 [Video]

Today marks the anniversary of the death of Tupac Shakur.

The West Coast emecee lost his life 14 years ago today after leaving the Mike TysonBruce Seldon boxing match at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

With over 75 million albums sold worldwide, a penchant for acting and the arts and a starring role in the notorious East Coast/West Coast beef, Pac is remembered and revered as nothing short of a rap legend.

While remembering Tupac, HipHopWired had a chance to sit down with his Death Row associate Danny Boy who revealed when he first met Pac and gave a firsthand account of the demise of Death Row.

While remaining scant on details, the singer who joined Pac on tracks like “I Ain’t Mad at Cha” and “Picture Me Rollin” says Suge Knight, his former legal guardian, has “done him wrong” but forgives him and prays for him daily.

Check out our interviews with Danny Boy below.
