JASMIN GUY NEW LEASE ON LIFE….SEE WHAT’S SHE IS UP TOO

Jasmine Guy, who so many of us loved as Whitley Gilbert on NBC’s nineties hit “A Different World,” is returning to the small screen in the CW’s super-hot new show “Vampire Diaries.” Guy, 47, will portray the grandmother of Bonnie (Katerina Graham), who will find out she’s descended from a long line of witches. Seems like this role is right on time. According to TMZ.com, papers filed in L.A. Superior Court reveal the Georgia-raised actress filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy protection from $123,503.64 in debt she accrued in her divorce from Terrence Mitchell Duckett, who she was married to for 11 years.
