Actor Morris Chestnut has listed his tennis estate in Hidden Hills at $4,495,000, according to the Multiple Listing Service.

The six-bedroom, seven-bathroom remodeled Mediterranean sits on 2.4 acres with tennis and sports courts, a swimming pool, a covered patio, a barbecue area and five stables. The 5,522-square-foot house, built in 1974 and expanded over the last two years, is one story except for a downstairs suite. There are open-beam ceilings, French doors, stone floors and two master bedroom suites.

Chestnut, 40, purchased the home in 2007 for $3.3 million, public records show.

He starred in this year’s “Not Easily Broken,” a relationship and faith-based drama from Sony’s TriStar Pictures. His breakthrough role came in the 1991 film “Boyz N the Hood,” in which he was cast alongside Cuba Gooding Jr. and Ice Cube. Among his other film credits are “G.I. Jane” (1997) and “The Best Man” (1999).

The listing agents are Marc Shevin and Rory Shevin of Prudential California Realty, Calabasas.

Most sources say he owes IRS this is an article taken from 105.9 Kiss FM:

According to the DETNews, he owes more than $215,800 in delinquent federal taxes. Public records show, IRS filed a tax lien in the amount of $217,817 against Chestnut and his wife on January 7, 2010 with the Los Angeles County Recorded of Deeds.

Apparently, Chestnut does not agree with the amount listed in the lien and is disputing it.

Morris Chestnut co-stars in an ABC television series, “V” which is set to return Tuesday(Mar 30) 2010.

This is the home in question…
