Any who Kimye (Kim Kardashian and Kanye West) found out that they’re having a baby boy, which they’re totes happy about because according to a friend, “Kim adores Mason, so she’s excited to have a little boy like him”. Also Kim Kardashian is in “denial about being pregnant” and refuses to stop wearing sky-high heels. What is it going to take I know some swollen ankles and heavy bloated weight from the growing belly. RHOA‘s Phaedra Parks is mad as hell that cast mate Kenya Moore backed her ass out of a joint workout video called Donkey Booty and has gone behind her back to produce her own, solo workout video called Stallion Booty, launching an all-out “battle of the booties” between the two former bosom buddies.Will this booty madness end and how will all this play out on RHOA, we shall see. “Kim’s Web of Lies” rehashes some old crap about why KK wants a divorce instead of an annulment: If she gets the marriage annulled, she’s admitting there was fraud, and brands who donated to make the wedding happen could sue her. Meanwhile, a source says Kim “totally used Kanye for his sperm” and after she didn’t get pregnant from banging him noon and night, “sweet-talked him into doing in vitro.” They visited Beverly Hills fertility specialist Dr. Mark Surrey and the conception was arranged. Plus, Kim had sex with Kanye while she and Kris were still together, claims a source, and she cheated on Kris with some millionaire businessman. Will the madness ever end. Can I say you big dummies to Chris Brown and Rihanna are planning a wild wedding, says a source: “They want tattoo artists, fire breathers and a near-naked waitstafff.” This might be happening as soon as July. Oh how sweet I just hope this doesn’t last 72 hour let along 72 days Kim and her ex hub are so far still in the winning.

A Different World” could be coming back to TV

Director Debbie Allen took to Twitter, toying with the idea of bringing “A Different World” back on the small screen:

During its run six year run “A Different World” was the #2 ranked show in African-American households and averaged about 16-20 million viewers per week.   Attendance at historically black colleges were at an all time high, due to positive depictions of campus life on the half hour show.

Rapper Trina — More Power to Frank Ocean … Gay Is Okay!

Frank Ocean isn’t being met with resistance from the entire hip hop community — rapper Trina tells TMZ, she fully supports Frank coming out, claiming, “He’s extremely talented and that’s what matters.”

As expected, Frank’s revelation this week — that he is sexually attracted to men — has received a mixed reaction in the hip hop community … a notoriously homophobic sector of the music industry.

But Trina tells us, “I don’t think [Frank’s] music sales or the level of support his music obtains should be judged based on his sexual preference.”

She adds, “If he’s happy and comfortable with his sexuality then so be it. I feel his decision to come forward was bold and honest. It’s his life. Let him enjoy and live it. I wish him much success and happiness.”

Scandals of Classic Hollywood….Then and Now

Dandridge suffered so that others wouldn’t have to. Yet fifty years after her death, when one would hope that all vestiges of discrimination, prejudice, and sexual stereotyping would have dissipated, they’re still alive, however quiet. Think of (mainstream) black female stars. There’s not a lot of them, so this won’t take you long.  Now think about who they’re allowed to be with onscreen, and the discourses about their sexuality off-screen. Whitney Houston could do little more than kiss Kevin Costner in The Bodyguard. Halle Berry was archly criticized for taking a role in which she was hyper-sexualized and can’t open a movie. Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, Jennifer Hudson, Mon’ique — none of them can get a leading role in a major Hollywood picture, much less a romantic leading role. We may have a black president, but most Americans still don’t know what to do with a black, sexual woman onscreen.

Celebrities That Passed Up Huge Roles…..

There are some big time actors that passed up some amazing and huge roles, do they regret them maybe so and will they pass up something so amazing as the roles they skipped maybe so. So here are our list of actors that passed up major rolls that could have helped them get and Oscar or any award and more money…

Matt Damon – ‘Avatar’

Between filming The Bourne Ultimatum and The Green Zone, Matt Damon couldn’t find the time to squeeze in a little film called Avatar. According to WENN, the actor was courted by director James Cameron, but ultimately had to watch from home as the sci-fi flick grossed over $1 billion worldwide.

Will Smith – ‘The Matrix’

You’d think passing on one of the most iconic film roles in the last 20 years would leave you upset. But when you’re as famous as Will Smith, you can afford to miss these types of opportunities. Besides, as the actor said: “I just didn’t see it. I watched Keanu’s performance – and very rarely do I say this – but I would have messed it up.” So there you have it.

Sean Connery – ‘The Lord of the Rings’ Trilogy

According to CNN, the actor’s decision to pass on the role as Gandolf reportedly cost the guy $400 million! No, the producers weren’t ready to pay him that salary. Rather, they offered Sean Connery up to 15 percent of the worldwide box office receipts to play the part — and as you may recall, the movies sort of did well.

Kevin Costner – ‘Kill Bill’

Kevin Costner has starred in many fantastic films, including Dances with Wolves and Field of Dreams. He’s also responsible for the disaster known as Waterworld. And if he hadn’t passed on the role of Bill, you could have seen the actor in Quentin Tarantino’s arthouse film, Kill Bill. Instead, Costner opted out, allowing David Carradine to take the part.

Mel Gibson – ‘Gladiator’

He’s not the most popular star in Hollywood, but Mel Gibson can certainly act. His performance in Braveheart helped the film win an Oscar for Best Picture in 1995. Yet, despite his success making epic historical dramas, the actor turned down the lead role in Gladiator. Seeing as Russel Crowe would go on to take the part and score an Academy Award for his efforts, we imagine Gibson regrets his decision.

Sarah Michelle Gellar – ‘Clueless’

Most people remember Sarah Michelle Gellar for her role as Buffy on the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. But if the actress had played her cards right, she could have starred as Cher Horowitz in Clueless. Ultimately, scheduling conflicts prevented Gellar from taking the part, allowing Alicia Silverstone to make movie magic.

John Travolta – ‘Forrest Gump’

Picture any actor not named Tom Hanks playing the lead in Forrest Gump. Now try and imagine John Travolta sitting on a park bench, telling the world “life is like a box of chocolates.” Yeah, we have no idea who thought that would ever work. The actor has since admitted he made a mistake turning down the iconic part. But in this case, we think he made the right choice.

 

Chevy Chase – ‘Forrest Gump’

We loved Chevy Chase in Caddy Shack. And we’ve fully embraced him on the NBC series Community. But like John Travolta, we’re glad he turned down the role of Forrest in Forrest Gump. Nothing against the guy, but it’s tough to imagine Clark Griswold delivering the same emotional performance Tom Hanks gave us.

Tom Hanks – ‘Jerry Maguire’

Just because Tom Hanks fit perfectly into the role of Forrest Gump, doesn’t mean he could play any part. And the Oscar-winning actor knows this better than anyone. When asked to comment on his decision to pass on starring in Jerry Maguire, Hanks had this to say: “I think you look at it now and it couldn’t have been anybody other than Tom Cruise.”

Lindsay Lohan – ‘The Hangover’

Lindsay Lohan has made a lot of regrettable decisions in her life. But in terms of career choices, her biggest blunder may have come in 2009, when she reportedly passed on the summer blockbuster, The Hangover. As Us magazine reported at the time, the actress allegedly turned down the part of stripper Jade (a role Heather Graham ended up playing).

Julia Roberts – ‘The Blind Side’

After landing her role in 2009’s The Blind Side, Sandra Bullock went on to win an Oscar, SAG Award, and a Golden Globe for Best Actress. A year later, Forbes named her the highest-paid female star in Hollywood. But none of this would have happened if the woman initially slated for the part, Julia Roberts, hadn’t passed on the film.

Disney New Show “Let It Shine” Starring “Everybody Hates Chris Actor” Tyler James Williams talks about the show

 

In the movie, Cyrus, played by Tyler James Williams (“Everybody Hates Chris”), is a shy, aspiring musician/songwriter that writes music under the pen name “Truth.” He enters a contest with a song that he writes about an unrequited love for an old friend, Roxanne, played by Coco Jones (Radio Disney “N.B.T.”). Too shy to present the song himself, Cyrus lets his best friend Kris, played by Trevor Jackson (“Eureka”), perform and take credit for the song. Cyrus idly stands by and watches as his best friend receives all of the accolades and begins to grab the heart of his crush.

Let It Shine is an inspiring movie set to the beat of gospel and hip-hop. The modern day Cyrano de Bergerac-inspired story is about three teenagers and how they learn the importance of being themselves. “Let it Shine” will make its premiere on June 15 at 8PM on the Disney Channel.

SINGER & ACTRESS TIFFANY EVANS EXPECTING FIRST CHILD

There’s a baby on the way for Tiffany Evans! The 19-year-old singer and her husband Lorenzo(she has been married for two years) are expecting their first child in October.

She reveals to Essence, “I am six months pregnant. No one has seen me and I’ve been waiting the proper time to say something about it. I’m so happy and I’m so excited and I’m having a girl. It’s so big and wonderful to me. It’s an amazing experience and I wish guys could go through this. It’s life changing.”

The R&B star is planning on releasing her EP Take 1 this month.

“The direction of Take 1 is very funky, very soulful, very R&B. It’s womanly. It’s me starting over. It’s me reintroducing myself to everyone and finally establishing who I am as an artist. It’s a real coming of age project for me. This EP was also the quickest way to give new music to my fans. I’ve been working on it all by myself, I feel like that chance now to really establish who I am music wise and who I am as an artist. This is that chance for me,” she says
