MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — While the Hawkeyes were stomping the Gophers on the Metrodome field last weekend, police said two Iowa fans were having a romp of a different kind in a restroom. Both events, police say, had their share of cheering fans.
A 38-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man turned to a handicapped stall for their tryst Saturday evening.
On the field, the Hawkeyes were on their way to 55-0 trouncing of the Gophers. In the restroom, a crowd of intoxicated fans gathered to cheer the off-the-field event.
Eventually, a security guard tipped off University of Minnesota police. Officers had to interrupt the couple to cite them for indecent conduct, a misdemeanor.
Police Chief Greg Hestness said the woman initially gave a false name to officers. She was released to her husband and the man was released to his girlfriend.
Both people in the stall were intoxicated.

6# Hurricane Katrina: Children Still Suffering from Storm
Although they survived one of the most horrific storms in history, the children who outlived Hurricane Katrina in 2005 are now the sickest children in America, according to a new report from Columbia University and the Children’s Health Fund.
Details of the study are found in the New York Daily News and cites that the children who lived through the storm ended up in formaldehyde-laced FEMA trailers. Out of the 261 children examined, 41 percent of those under 4 have iron deficiency anemia, 55 percent of those 6 and older now have mental problems and a third have impaired hearing or vision.
More than half of the children affected by the storm were from New Orleans Parish and disproportionately African-American.

Hell’s Kitchen star has been having a seven-year affair, according to the News of the World.
Ramsay, married for 12 years to a schoolteacher, was caught leaving a high-priced London hotel after meeting up with Sarah Symonds, a Brit known for having affairs with powerful married men. She even wrote a book called Having an Affair: A Handbook for the Other Woman.
The Kitchen Nightmares host — and father of four! — allegedly began the affair in 2001 after meeting Symonds at a London nightclub
. Symonds, according to the report, even appeared on Hell’s Kitchen posing as a dinner guest.
Ramsey’s spokesperson, Jessica Chan, told The ENQUIRER, “Gordon is not available for comment.”

4# Syracuse woman is accused of having sex with 3 teen boys
Syracuse police have arrested a woman accused of engaging in an ongoing sexual relationship with three teenage boys.
Police said their investigation began Nov. 19 when detectives began looking into rumors that a woman had been sending nude pictures of herself to a teenage boy.
“When we looked into the person she sent it to, he’s an 18-year-old male,” Syracuse Police Lt. Tracy Jensen said Tuesday. “However, we were concerned because of the rumors we were hearing.”
When police brought the 40-year-old woman in for questioning, she disclosed that she’d had sexual relationships with three boys, ages 15 to 17, Jensen said.
“It’s gone on and off for six months to a year,” he said. “She knew the victims through friends of her daughter’s and in the neighborhood.”
The woman was booked into the Davis County Jail last week on investigation of unlawful sex with a minor, unlawful sexual conduct and dealing materials harmful to a minor. She posted bail and was released. The Davis County Attorney’s Office is screening any possible charges, police said.
Jensen said detectives are looking for more possible victims but acknowledged there may be difficulty in getting anyone else to come forward.”The consensus is going to be that guys don’t want to come forward because they’re really not victims,” he said. “There is definitely a different persona when you put a twist where a female is taking advantage of a male. But the law is very clear, and we don’t differentiate, because it does break the law.”

2# Woman Convicted of Misdemeanors in MySpace Suicide Case
A Missouri woman accused in a MySpace hoax that ended in a girl’s suicide was convicted Wednesday of three misdemeanor charges by an L.A. jury that rejected more serious felonies.
Lori Drew, 49, faces up to three years in prison after the federal jury declined to convict her on three felony charges and couldn’t decide on a fourth. The felony counts had carried a maximum 20-year term.
Lori Drew, 49, allegedly posed as a 16-year-old boy named Josh Evans on MySpace and participated in what the prosecutor called “an elaborate scheme to inflict massive humiliation” on the emotionally fragile Meier that ended when the girl hanged herself.
Drew showed little emotion as the panel, after one day of deliberation, found her guilty of three misdemeanor counts of unauthorized computer access, sometimes referred to as hacking. The jury said it was hopelessly deadlocked on a felony conspiracy charge.
In what was being called the nation’s first cyber-bulling trial, Drew, of Dardenne Prairie, Mo., was accused of hatching the MySpace romance plan in 2006 because of a feud between Drew’s daughter and Meier. The fictional Josh concluded the online flirting by sending a message saying the world would be better off without Meier.
Meier, who had a history of depression, then hung herself in a closet with a belt. She died the next day.
