George Zimmerman — Bodyguards Jacked Up Prices On Me

George Zimmerman fired the security company he hired to protect him — the company that’s now suing him — because of mysteriously high billing … this according to Zimmerman’s lawyer.

As we previously reported … Associated Investigative Services filed a lawsuit against Zimmerman … alleging he still owes $27,027 for its services.

However, Zimmerman’s attorney tells TMZ his client felt “the billing got out of hand quickly. We trusted them to be efficient with their work and they weren’t.” He claims Zimmerman dropped the security team because of concerns about the bills.

The attorney adds … Zimmerman’s supporters were paying the tab — through the George Zimmerman Legal Defense Fund — and he says, “I don’t believe those who have contributed to help George should be taken advantage of by such over-billing.”

We reached out to AIS about Zimmerman’s claim — so far, no word back.

The Game — Accused of a Good Ol’ Fashioned Beat Jacking!

Hip-hop producer Infamous produced a song for The Game‘s most recent mixtape — the only problem is he claims never got paid for it … this according to a new lawsuit obtained by TMZ.

According to a lawsuit filed in California, Infamous (real name Marco Rodriguez) claims he did work for Game all the time, so he had no problem sending him a beat to listen to back in 2010 … so Game could decide whether or not he wanted to use it.

But Infamous claims he never reached any deal with Game, so he was shocked when the beat he made was turned into “Skate On,” a song featured on Game’s mixtape, “California Republic.” Infamous is even credited as the producer on Wikipedia (see below).

Infamous says he sent a letter to Game in April to try and get what’s his … but Game never responded.

Infamous says he usually charges between $20-$25,000 per song, but he’s suing Game for damages in excess of $100,000. It’s worth noting … the mixtape is available for free online.

Toni Braxton — Sued Over $57,000 TV Poster SNAFU

Toni Braxton is responsible for over $57,000 in STOLEN ADVERTISING for her TV show “Braxton Family Values” — so says a new lawsuit … and now, the singer’s being sued BIG TIME.

A company called National Promotions & Advertising filed the lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court, claiming it entered into an agreement  last year with the producers of Braxton’s WEtv reality show — including Braxton herself — to promote the show’s 2nd Season.

According to the lawsuit, NPA agreed to post 4,300 “BFV” posters around the country in exchange for a fat paycheck — $57,322.29.

NPA claims it completed its end of the bargain in November — days before the premiere of the show’s second season — but Braxton and her producing partners didn’t pony up.

NPA says it’s been trying to get paid ever since … in vain … and now, it’s suing for its money … plus damages.

A rep for Toni tells us the singer is not involved in marketing budgets or payables for the series, and says such decisions are handled by WEtv.

Fantasia in court on being the other woman.. see what she had to say

Fantasia Barrino is still being drawn into the drama of a lover who failed to disclose that he had a wife and kids when he embarked on an affair with the American Idol winner, and now his scorned ex is  trying to cash-in on an obscure North Carolina law that allows a cheated on spouse to file an Alienation of Affection lawsuit.

Fantasia admitted under oath she got pregnant by Antwaun Cook,  and that she had an abortion around the time she tried and failed to commit suicide.

The bombshell confession was made in a North Carolina court on Monday during her ex-lover’s divorce hearing with his ex-wife Paula Cook.

Barrino acknowledges they dated  “off and on for about 11 months” but was told by Cook that he was separated from his wife.

Alienation of Affection is a law  recognized by only seven states and North Carolina is one of them.

Let’s hope Fantasia prevails in this troubled couples seemingly get rich quick scheme.

Bishop Eddie Long Racks Up 4th Lawsuit

Well folks, this story continues to get more and more “interesting” and complicated.

We’ve just learned that a fourth young man has just filed suit against Bishop Eddie Long for sexual coercion. He claims that Bishop Long took him to Kenya in 2005 when he was 17 and began their alleged sexual relationship there. The suit also claims Bishop Long later encouraged him to move to Atlanta and that the alleged relationship continued until 2009.

This really is getting a little bit ridiculous. Not to be crass but can we get them all to file at one time. I joked the other day but now this REALLY IS starting to feel like the Tiger Woods situation all over again. Just yesterday, the attorney of the plaintiffs BJ Bernstein released rather suspect and suggestive (but not explicit) pictures of Bishop Long that allegedly were sent to this 4th young man. However, because of plaintiff Maurice Robinson’s arrest and charge for breaking into Bishop Long’s office, some folks are second guessing the use of the pictures as evidence claiming that those pictures could have been sent after the robbery since it’s believe Long’s cell phone and iPad were stolen in that burglary.

We also learned today that Bishop Long held a conference call with select members of his church, New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, to speak to them about the allegations. According to CBS Atlanta who was on the phone for the call, Bishop Long said he had to be careful what he said because he wasn’t sure who was on the phone. Some quotes from the call:

“We will arise through this situation, and go forward, and we are moving forward,”

“I have never dealt with anything like this before. I have been under attack before, but everything else has been different levels and different challenges,”

“Know that I am also praying for the families and the young men who are accusing. I always operate in the spirit of love, and we are going to move through this,”

I also understand that on the call Bishop Long didn’t actually deny the allegations.

Will this be the end of the lawsuits or is it only just beginning? Rumors are swirling around that there could be dozens that come forward to file suits or at the very least testify on the behalf of the other plaintiffs. As always, I’m paying attention and will keep you updated but this is going from bad to worse QUICKLY! Keep praying because as I’ve said before, regardless how this ends, it won’t be anything nice!

Bishop Long is scheduled to make a statement to his congregation on Sunday. It’s rumored that he will step down soon after his speech.  I’ll be watching.

After skipping out on a New Year’s Eve gig back in ’08, Ne-Yo now owes a Baltimore club promoter an apology that’s worth $196,000.

Remember that New Year’s Eve gig Ne-Yo was supposed to perform at back in 2008, but decided to just skip out on it?  The problem is, contracts were in place, as well as a $95,000 deposit shelled out to him.  Ne-Yo kept the deposit, and was a no-show for the event.  This past Tuesday, a judge ordered him to pay up:

Anne Arundel County Circuit Judge Philip Caroom ordered the payment Tuesday after a four-day trial in late July and early August.

Promoter Kenyohn Clark sued Ne-Yo, whose real name is Shaffer Smith, and Maryland-based promoter Mike Esterman. The judge ruled in favor of Clark, who claimed that Esterman misled him and failed to return a $95,000 deposit.

Court documents show Ne-Yo testified at trial that he knew in his “heart of hearts” that the deposit should have been returned to Clark.

Ex-girlfriend files suit, says Alomar exposed her to AIDS

roberto_alomar

NEW YORK (CNN) — A lawsuit filed January 30 by baseball great Roberto Alomar’s ex-girlfriend alleges he engaged in unprotected sex with her while suffering from HIV/AIDS.

Ilya Dall is asking for $15 million for “personal injuries” suffered due to Alomar’s negligence. She and her two children lived with the former New York Mets slugger for three years.

She alleges that he started exhibiting signs of HIV as early as 2005, but twice refused recommendations for an HIV test by his doctor, saying that earlier tests for the disease had come back negative, according to court papers.

Alomar’s lawyer, Charles Bach, was not available for comment, but attorney Luke Pittoni, who also represents Alomar, said, “We believe this is a totally frivolous lawsuit — these allegations are baseless, he’s healthy and he’d like to keep his health status private. We’ll do our talking in court.”

Anthony Piancentini, who is representing Dall, said he has “no comment” at this time.

Dall says in court papers that Alomar told her “I don’t have HIV.” She alleges he “lied and purposefully misrepresented his physical condition” and “that he was endangering the health and well being of [Dall] by continuing to have unprotected sexual relations with [her],” according to the lawsuit.
